Vendor Terms & Conditions

Welcome to STOREONE GROUP. These Vendor Terms & Conditions (“Vendor Agreement”) govern the relationship between STOREONE GROUP and all vendors, sellers, suppliers, distributors, manufacturers, and business partners selling products through the STOREONE marketplace platform.

By registering as a vendor, listing products, supplying inventory, or using our vendor services, you agree to comply with all terms stated in this agreement.

1. About STOREONE GROUP

STOREONE GROUP is a marketplace, furniture, retail, wholesale, and eCommerce business operating in South Africa.

2. Vendor Eligibility

To become a vendor, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide valid identification documents
  • Provide accurate business details
  • Comply with South African laws and regulations
  • Have legal authority to sell listed products

STOREONE reserves the right to reject any vendor application without prior notice.

3. Vendor Verification

All vendors must complete verification before approval.

Required documents may include:

  • South African ID / Smart ID
  • Passport
  • Driver’s License
  • Business registration certificate
  • VAT registration (if applicable)
  • Proof of address

STOREONE may request additional verification at any time.

4. Fulfillment Policy (FBS Only)

STOREONE operates strictly under Fulfillment by STOREONE (FBS).

This means:

  • Vendors supply inventory to STOREONE
  • STOREONE handles storage
  • STOREONE handles packaging
  • STOREONE handles shipping
  • STOREONE handles delivery coordination
  • STOREONE assists with returns

Fulfillment by Merchant (FBM) is not supported.

5. Product Listing Requirements

All product listings must contain accurate information including:

  • Product title
  • SKU
  • Category
  • Brand
  • Price
  • Stock quantity
  • Product images
  • Short description
  • Long description
  • Specifications

All information must be truthful, complete, and not misleading.

6. Product Standards & Compliance

Vendors guarantee that products are:

  • Authentic
  • Safe
  • Legal to sell
  • Not counterfeit
  • Free from hidden defects
  • Compliant with consumer protection laws

Prohibited products include:

  • Illegal products
  • Counterfeit goods
  • Weapons
  • Explosives
  • Hazardous materials
  • Expired consumables
  • Fraudulent digital goods

7. Inventory Submission

Vendors must deliver inventory to STOREONE’s operational hub.

Inventory may be inspected for:

  • Quantity accuracy
  • Packaging quality
  • SKU verification
  • Physical damage
  • Compliance

STOREONE may reject inventory that fails inspection.

8. Commission & Fees

  • Marketplace commission: 15% per successful sale
  • No commission on unsold inventory
  • Storage fees may apply
  • Return handling fees may apply
  • Promotional fees may apply

STOREONE reserves the right to revise commission or service fees with notice.

9. Payments to Vendors

Vendor payouts are made after:

  • Successful customer payment
  • Order completion
  • Fraud checks
  • Return/refund review period

STOREONE may withhold payouts for fraud investigations, disputes, chargebacks, or violations.

10. Returns, Refunds & Disputes

Customers may request returns for:

  • Damaged items
  • Wrong items
  • Defective products
  • Approved return requests

Vendors remain financially responsible for defects, false listings, product faults, and compliance issues.

11. Intellectual Property

Vendors confirm they own or have rights to use:

  • Product images
  • Brand assets
  • Logos
  • Descriptions
  • Marketing materials

Vendors indemnify STOREONE against IP infringement claims.

12. Vendor Conduct

Vendors must not:

  • Commit fraud
  • Manipulate prices unfairly
  • Upload false information
  • Mislead customers
  • Abuse STOREONE staff
  • Circumvent platform rules

13. Suspension & Termination

STOREONE may suspend or terminate vendor accounts for:

  • Fraud
  • Counterfeit goods
  • Repeated customer complaints
  • Policy violations
  • Illegal activities
  • Non-payment of fees

Termination may occur without prior notice in serious cases.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, STOREONE shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from vendor participation on the platform.

STOREONE’s total liability shall not exceed fees paid by the vendor during the previous 12 months.

15. Confidentiality

Vendors must keep confidential all non-public business information obtained through STOREONE, including pricing models, customer information, logistics data, and internal operations.

16. Privacy & POPIA Compliance

Vendors handling customer information must comply with South Africa’s:

Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA)

Customer information may only be used for legitimate business purposes.

17. Force Majeure

STOREONE shall not be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Floods
  • Fire
  • Power outages
  • Transport disruptions
  • Government restrictions
  • Pandemics

18. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to South African courts.

19. Amendments

STOREONE reserves the right to modify this Vendor Agreement at any time. Updated versions become effective immediately upon publication.
